Safeguarding

1 Safeguarding is part of our core faith and an integral feature of Christian life in our parish churches.

2 Welfare of children, young people & vulnerable adults is at all times paramount and takes precedence over all other considerations

3 Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser MUST be consulted whenever a safeguarding concern of any kind arises in your parish

Further information regarding Safeguarding can be found on this website and in the church office.

Uplyme Gospel Singers

Uplyme Gospel Singers is a community choir made up of people of varying musical abilities who love to sing.  There are no auditions and you don’t need to be able to read music.  Most of our songs are a cappella (without instrumental accompaniment).  We have a wonderful and talented musical director who guides us through the pieces and arranges two or three concerts a year.  These are usually in aid of a local charity and are completely optional.

We meet every Tuesday during term time at Uplyme Church from 7:30pm to 9pm.  The first session is free, then it’s £5 per session, but we don’t want anyone to be excluded from the group for financial reasons.  So please speak to Jo before or after the session, as funds are available to cover those who cannot pay.

We’re a friendly bunch and we’d love to welcome you into the group.  If you’re interested, just turn up on a Tuesday evening or call 01279 441986 for further information, or email at ugs@uplymechurch.org.uk
